This year my son Kai wanted to try Irish Cream so right away I jumped into the kitchen and made the most delicious keto Irish Cream (which was with heavy cream) but then I thought why not make a lighter version for a protein sparing Irish Cream ?

Both the keto Irish Cream and my protein sparing Irish Cream were an absolute hit, I had to share these recipes with you!

Small Businesses Face Hiring Challenges Despite Fears Of Recession

Full employment is an economic situation in which all people who are available and willing to work can find a job at the prevailing wages and conditions of the industry in which they seek employment. Full employment is generally considered to be when the country’s unemployment rate is 4% or less. However, zero unemployment is impossible to achieve, as there are always some people who are temporarily out of work.

By Bob Montgomery
February 24, 2023 9:23am

Huron County’s Director of Economic Development says they’re looking for an increase in provincial funding for their Small Business Enterprise Centre.

Vicki Lass says the center is funded partially by the county and partially by the province, and over the last few years there has not been an increase in funding from the province. So Small Business Enterprise Centers Ontario is petitioning the province for more funding for all of the centers in Ontario.

According to a new report, the US government “isn’t doing enough” for small businesses. I’m calling Baloney.

“Business owners don’t feel like the programs are all that effective and they also don’t even feel like they have a sense of what’s available, some of which maybe is effective,” said Joe Wall, national director of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Voices, of the survey of more than 1,800 small businesses in 48 states.

Well, Wall is right. There are many programs, credits and financing opportunities available from the government for small businesses that often get overlooked – by small businesses.

For success, consider a different path than your peers

One thing I always suggest to my small business brothers and sisters is to, whenever possible, “do the opposite.” For instance, when everyone else is flooding Facebook or Instagram with ads, it is probably a good time to look to advertise elsewhere.

As none other than Warren Buffet has said (paraphrasing here), “Be fearful when others are greedy, and be greedy when others are fearful.”

The reason for this is such smart small business advice – especially now, especially post-pandemic – is that by being even just a tad unconventional, you open all sorts of new avenues, markets, marketing options,

FUTURE OF WORK: Remote work is more of a curse than a blessing for small businesses in Toronto | News

A shift in employment trends has seen foot traffic and subsequent sales drop in the downtown core’s local businesses, and even if outlying residential areas like Etobicoke, North York and Scarborough are able to scrape off some of that business, some of it just disappears, experts say, striking a heavy blow as small businesses grapple with COVID-19-accrued debt.

The spring 2022 survey of remote work from the Environics Institute’s latest wave of research on the topic found that almost half of employed Canadians are working from home at least some of the time.

It also found that 76 per cent
