BOSTON – The Boston Bruins announced today, March 28, that the TD Bank Small Business Takeover initiative will kick off for a sixth season during tonight’s game against the Nashville Predators at TD Garden.

For the Small Business Takeover, TD Bank will grant all possible advertising “real estate” at TD Garden to a local small business for the duration of the game. This includes the 360 LED screens, dasher boards, video walls, roster cards and TD Bank corporate suite, in addition to digital support from Bruins social channels.

Tuesday’s Small Business Takeover will be given to the Energy Shield of New Hampshire.

“Small businesses are very important to our community, and we’re honored to partner with TD Bank for Small Business Takeover Night at TD Garden,” said Glen Thornborough, Chief Revenue Officer of the Boston Bruins. “Since 2017, this program has supported and celebrated many local organizations and we’re excited to continue this initiative alongside TD Bank. Together we hope to make a positive impact and help small businesses, like Energy Shield of New Hampshire, thrive.”

Energy Shield of New Hampshire is a family owned and operated business that started more than 40 years ago and has worked diligently to serve the state’s homeowners roofing, solar and electrical needs. From a simple job to a lavish remodel, Energy Shield’s team cares about their customer service as much as their ability to promote home and business projects. Their reputation for superior craftsmanship has led to repeat customers, referrals from home owners and local business owners, and recognition from the Better Business Bureau.

“TD Bank operates with the belief that small businesses are the lifeblood of many economies, and we enjoy this annual opportunity to celebrate them by offering our Takeover winner access to all of advertising space within TD Garden to showcase their business in front of the thousands of fans in attendance and those viewing the game’s broadcast,” said Sheryl McQuade, Regional President of New England, TD Bank. “Contributing to a more inclusive and sustainable future is core to our goals as an organization, so it is wonderful to feature a business like Energy Shield that also works towards these goals.”

TD Bank’s Small Business Takeover initiative began in 2017 as a way to promote New England small businesses on a larger scale at TD Garden on Bruins game days. Previous participants of the initiative include Day’s Jewelers, The Barkery, Bay State Cruise Company, Sunbug Solar, and more.
