Pepsi drops Peeps-flavored soda: Here’s how to get the marshmallow-flavored cola

STATEN ISLAND, NY — A sensational cola treat is back by popular demand — Pepsi is once again offering its limited-edition Peeps soda.

The beverage company is collaborating with the Peeps brand to bring the marshmallow-flavored soda to market — a partnership that Pepsi said “broke the internet” in 2021. Two years ago, the partnership made its debut and trended everywhere — even being sold for hundreds of dollars on the resale market. That’s because the drop was available for 3,000 fans at the time, which intrigued cola drinkers everywhere and drove consumer demand.

Now the drink is being sold at retailers for the first time. Fans everywhere can help ushers in spring with the one-of-a-kind treat, available for a limited time.

PEPSI x PEEPS products are available for purchase nationwide in 7.5-ounce Pepsi mini-can multipacks and 20-ounce bottles.

According to a news release, PEPSI x PEEPS is a surprisingly delicious beverage combining the refreshing taste of Pepsi cola with the classic sweet PEEPS marshmallow flavor that consumers know and love. The pillowy-soft marshmallow cola flavor — paired with the instantly recognizable PEEPS-inspired design in vibrant yellow packaging — marks the celebration of the approaching spring season.

To celebrate, the duo is also using Snapchat’s augmented reality technology to send fans on a virtual egg hunt for a chance to unlock prizes, including a spring trip for two and exclusive PEPSI X PEEPS merchandise. To participate, fans must purchase PEPSI X PEERS products and scan the can or bottle with the co-brand AR Lens to unlock a secret code to find out instantly if they have won a prize.
