Students from West Side Career and Technology Center’s Business Marketing Program recently participated in the DECA state competition held in Hershey. DECA is a national marketing club for high school students which provides an opportunity to test their business marketing skills in a real world environment. At the annual state conference, 3,000 students from around the state competed in various marketing related role-playing events. Junior Evander Brown (Wyoming Valley West) was a triple medal winner in the Accounting Applications category and Junior Breana Vino was a single medal winner in the Material Logistics and Handling category.
