A net-zero world could generate $10.3 trillion by 2050, new report finds

The green transition could spur huge economic gains as the world looks to curb climate change, a new report finds.

A study from Oxford Economics and Arup estimated that green industries could add $10.3 trillion to the world’s economy — or 5.2% of global GDP — by 2050 under a net-zero scenario.

The report made the case that governments and businesses, under increasing pressure from costly climate-related weather events, may begin to see a rapid transition away from fossil fuels as a net positive as well as a way to avoid climate disruptions.

How to Saute without Oil (Dry Saute – NOT in water)

No water! No broth!

I’ve seen many suggestions/recipes for sauteing in a little water or vegetable broth instead of oil, but (in my opinion) that method just doesn’t do it. The onions taste steamed, not sauteed.

In recent years, Bankman-Fried had become one of the Democratic Party’s most prominent donors: during the last election cycle alone, he gave a reported forty million dollars to campaigns and political groups that were mostly Democratic. This past spring, he said that he could potentially spend between a hundred

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) said on Saturday that Rep. George Santos (RN. Y.) will have to face the congressional ethics process over fabrications about his background and questions about his finances, but shouldn’t be “subject to shunning” by his fellow members of Congress.

“George Santos represents over 700,000 people in New York,” Gaetz told CNN’s Michael Smerconish. “And whether people like that or not, those people deserve to have members of Congress collaborating with the person who serves them.”

Gaetz added that he doesn’t want to judge Santos before the congressional ethics process has run its course.

“I think he
