Napthens Celebrates First Year, Expands Manchester Team

Napthens is celebrating the first anniversary of its Manchester office, highlighting an expanded team, broader legal services and deeper connections within the city’s business community.
The office opened in November 2025 and has since recruited specialists in real estate, family law, litigation, commercial and corporate law, residential conveyancing and private-client work. The recruited team includes experts who handle complex property transactions, family disputes, commercial contracts and corporate governance matters.
Leadership rests with partner Krista Powell, while senior lawyers Amy Harris, Sven Clarke and Nicola Meakin support a group of solicitors and other specialists serving clients across Greater Manchester. Together, they manage a portfolio that spans both private individuals and corporate clients throughout the metropolitan region.
The most recent addition is Charlotte Pritchard, who joins as legal director and becomes the office’s first dedicated wills, trusts and probate specialist.
Charlotte advises high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners on estate planning, inheritance tax, trusts and succession matters.

Napthens has also broadened its involvement in the professional community through partnerships with Pro-Manchester, the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce and the Manchester Law Society. These collaborations enable the firm to take part in joint seminars, share legal updates and contribute to policy discussions affecting local enterprises.
The firm organized networking events, supported local charities and raised more than £1,600 for the NSPCC by taking part in the Manchester Great Run 10K and the Dragon Boat Festival.
“Over the last year, we have built a strong multidisciplinary team in Manchester and broadened the specialist support we can offer clients across the region,” Krista Powell said. “Manchester has a dynamic and ambitious business community.”
“We have worked hard to become part of that community by building relationships, supporting local initiatives and creating opportunities for professionals and businesses to connect,” she added.
We look forward to building on these foundations.”
